Vacation is half over and it’s been fun. Low-key, but fun. Last weekend was Comic Con, which wasn’t so low-key, but since then, I’ve spent every day in the craft studio. I made books on Sunday and then visited with the missionaries. (That’s one downside to working with the garage door opened, you can’t pretend you’re not home if you aren’t in the mood for visitors.)
Monday I made half a dozen necklaces and yesterday I made a couple more and fixed the eyeglass holder one of my mom’s students asked me to restring a year ago. Mom and Dad stopped by for crepes (yes I am obsessed) and to pick up the coral necklace I restrung for her. After I went to see Spiderman I came home and made a couple of bookmarks.
Today I’m going to get the house clean before I go back into the studio. If I go back into the studio. I may spend the day making music or putting a puzzle together. Making crafts is beginning to feel like work, and that’s not what this vacation is about.
